conclusion

As I have already mentioned before, this course has fulfilled some of my expectations that were having more knowledge in English Theatre and it has motivated me to feel more interested in drama, the course did really have more contents than I expected, not just theory, so that was great in a way. Whenever I will see that there is going to be a play done in my city made by one of the authors we studied, especially Sarah Kane, I would definately go to see it because now that I know about their background, their lives and their dramatic principles as well as many other characteristics of their plays I can appreciate them even more. I also liked the interaction with students, analysing plays or ideas and having a little discussion about a topic with all the class, the majority of us did collaborate and that was useful and interesting for me and I think it was too for the rest of the class. I did not expect this subject to be this way, I expected more theory and much more work, there was a lot of work and study to be done, don't get me wrong, but it did not feel as something tedious or boring to do.

I really enjoyed making this subject and I think I am very satisfied with the result of these four months.

  1. The blog is a good idea, and I appreciate your use of images, etc. However, it covers the minimums at a minimum level, and it could be exploited much further.

I would recommend that you develop your analyses much more, that you revise your spelling and register (contractions and other oral elements are not appropriate for an academic assignment), and that you go in more depth into each of the items next time you do something like this.

This type of task has a lot of potential, and you have shown interest and a clear improvement in the last months of classes. Take advantage of that next time.
